If you’re interested I’ve made the entirety of Book One available for download, you can find them all here. You need to have WinRAR, which is my ZIP-y program of choice. If the demand is enough then I’ll think about doing some ZIPS…but RAR is much nicer, as far as I’ve seen.

- Chapter One, Meet the PKF: The start of the whole thing. This arc gives you a chance to start from the beginning (o4/13/2005) and read all about Tom’s first encounter with Roto, Dis and his dealings with Zog and Mog.
- Sidestory One, Name: This story details the first appearance of NightJewel (who will appear again, I promise) and a fight though the lower levels of a night club. I’m very happy with how the arc came out, it’s one of the chapters from Book One that aged really, really well. Check it out.

- Chapter two, Crossing Paths: This was kind of an experiment…I didn’t know what I wanted to do with Chapter Three so I started this…kind of side story where all the agents met each other. But it turned out to be a little, well, boring as hell. So I opted to end it with a short story and continue on. Lesson Learned.
- Chapter Three, Caged: Easily one of my favorite arcs of Book One…it was also one of the longest. The agents meet Adjana, Eugene and The ZPF is introduced in full…also it’s the first time Tom goes nuts…which ends up being VERY important to the story.
Download Book One, Chapters Four and Five – 7.66MB
- Chapter Four, Those Crazy Zargonians: This is a short little arc, where Zog and Mog explain what they think is happening to Tom. It’s brief, ends with a cute message of friendship and shows you Hana’s room in some detail, it’s mostly exposition.
- Chapter Five, Demons: This is where I’m told the comic REALLY started for most people, it’s where the agents fight Jalom and Unknown Prime. Tom learns that there’s not an easy way to know right from wrong, it’s also the mark of where Tom starts to really worry about his friends and where Tom starts to worry about whether or not he can protect them.
Download Book One, Chapters Six and Seven – 4.39MB
- Chapter Six, A Day at the Mall: The agents settle in for some much needed recreation, they head (reluctantly) to the mall and spend some time trying to get Adjana to dress in something other than a black suit. It’s also where Paoken and Kyren are first revealed and Tom deals with his own, inner, power.
- Chapter Seven, Blessed Sinners/Condemed Prophet: This is, BY FAR AND AWAY, my favorite arc of Book One. The story details Roto’s rise to power as a Space Pirate and General in The Kayooshen’s army. It’s dark, a little depressing, and shows that even Roto had redeeming qualities. Some one asked me why he let the people live at the end of the story. Roto isn’t pure evil. He truly believed that he could save the world…he just killed the people in his way..
Download Book One, Chapter Eight – 14.9MB
- Chapter Eight, Self Perceptions: What can I say about this one? It’s the longest, LARGEST (due to a mid way change in saving techniques), and probably most revealing chapter of Book One. After Hana, Sam and Adjana are kidnapped Tom decides to go meet with Roto to secure their release. Its a story of Tom’s dive into his own psyche, where he finally confronts an old friend…It’s also the story that has what is easily my favorite sequence in the comic (where Tom falls though the sky…). It’s a little long, but it was Roto’s swan song, so I had to fit as much into it as possible.
