Dictionary

I realize that I use quite a few made up words in the comic, so I figured I should put the most obscure or at least most used words in an easy to navigate page. Hope it helps.

NOTE: All dates are Earth dates, it saves my brain from more work.

A

Ariea: The patron goddess of Airosia, mostly used by Adjana as a swear word.

B

Book of Guardians, The: The book brings several dozen different religions together into one unified belief by combining passages from other religious texts using a mathematical equation. It is the book of a relatively new religion, but the faith is one of the fastest growing in the Universe. Occasionally referred to by Mog in relation to Tom and his tendency to pull other personalities out of his ass.

Brotherhood, The: See The Kayooshen Corps. Or read the Brotherhood’s entry in the Information page.

C

Chidge: The most offensive thing you can call a mixed blooded Airosian. Derived from the Airosian word for a type of oil, it’s meant to say that the two bloods dont mix.

Cybers: A type of Mark III Robot used by Roto as expendable infantrymen.

D

Dummies: Introduced in book one these solid light holograms are actually called ‘COMP Dummies’. They act as replacements for the Agents when they can’t be missed. They aren’t that bright, but they have rudimentary knowledge of their user’s life and can fill in on occasions…mostly they just play sick and keep quite. They can also be used to train, making them rather versatile in the HOLD. When outside though they have very little strength, due to the large amount of energy it takes to keep them running.

E

Earther: A slang term for some one who doesn’t know what really happens in the universe, is frequently used to describe Tom, Sam and Hana’s lack of knowledge on non-Zictin happenings. Also gradually making its way across the galaxy as a way to call someone clueless (ie: ‘Don’t act like such Earther’)

Eleia: The Airosian messiah, the only daughter of Ariea. Once again, used mostly as a curse word.

FreeFroms: The FreeFrom alliance is the third ‘super power’ in the universe (along side GASP and the KC).  For more on FreeFroms, read their entry in the Information page.

G

GASP: The Galactic alliance of Sentient Planets. One of three major political bodies in the Universe. For more on GASP, read their entry in the Information page.

Godkin: A being created by the Gods. A Godkin exists as it has, does and always will…basically it never ages. Their personalities, likes and dislikes are not set in stone, though. There are several hundred Godkin, most of them are ‘Keepers of Knowldege’ (beings who can’t make decisions about a planet, but can advise those that can). Unlike Gods they posses a defined gender.

K

Kayooshen: The patron god of Rakin, used mostly as a curse or blessing.

Kayooshen Corps, The: An army built by The Kayooshen under the bannder of The Brotherhood. One of three major superpowers in the universe. For more on The KC, read their entry in the Information page.

Kayooshen, The: Leader of the KC, claims to be the reincarnation of the god and has forsaken his name in his honor.

Keepers: Abbreviation of ‘Peace Keepers Force’, used to refer to Tom, Sam and Hana at present.

Kyren: The patron god of Zargonia, used mostly by Zog and Mog as a curse or blessing.

N

NIS: Acronym for ‘Non-Indigenous Sentient’; It was coined shortly after long range space travel became a norm in the universe, it’s a more politically correct way of calling some one an ‘alien’, as ‘alien’ gives the impression that they should not be there, when most NISs living on planets other than their own are there legally, and in many cases were born on said planet.

P

Paoken: Patron god of Velka, again, mostly used as a curse.

Paoken’s Keeper: The alias for the creator of this comic, usually shortened to ‘Paoken’ but should not be confused with the God as he borrowed it from the God sometime after the comic’s creation.

S

Sonic Boom: A specific energy attack that Tom seemed to know instinctively also was taught to Sam and Hana shortly after.

Z

Zictin: The name of Earth in the GASP log books, it is used by most people ‘in-the-know’ about the goings on in the universe who live on Earth.

Zoyan: Whatever it is, Tom is apparently one of them ‘that’s right, that’s all you get!

Z.P.F: Founded in 1985 it is more or less a bonafide NIS police department, with four major bases all over the world and its head quarters in The United States with another two dozen smaller bases spanning the globe and over 500,000 active members it is easily the largest non-Zictin group on Earth.
