Minor Planets
Norki – Members of GASP
|
| A small species of yellow skinned humanoids. The Norkian people are physically weak but have advanced methods of treating disease and ailments.
Their induction into GASP has advanced the length and quality of life in the universe. Their eye’s distinguish heat and light, they see things in muddy shades of browns and greens but they can spot injuries easily, even under the skin. |
Getl – Members of the FreeFroms
|
| A species of feathered bipeds incapable of sustained flight, but they are able to glide quite gracefully for several minutes.
The males of the species have very colorful plumage and the females have less ostentatious colors. The colors vary depending on the parentage, lighter colors in the north and darker colors in the south as well as brighter colors in the east. |
Telina – Members of the Brotherhood
|
| One of the few planets in the universe that two opposite sentient species evolved at the same time.
The four-armed Bentz and the massive Fenz both inhabit the small planet; oddly enough there was little racial discrimination between the two through their history. The Fenz are primarily carnivorous and the Bentz primarily herbivores, so the two rarely had to compete for resources. Though both can be omnivores. |
Harner – Members of the FreeFroms
|
| The people of Harner are tall, posses four arms, have grey skin and massive black eyes. They have acute reflexes.
Harner usually have no hair, though there are some that posses it through interbreeding. The Harner have no real central government to speak of, instead there are dozens of districts all over the planet that are each responsible for their own issues, on the odd occasion representatives will all come together and discuss worldly issues. |
Kent – Members of the FreeFroms
|
| The species from Kent are short, colorful and have rippled scalps. They are physically weak and not that predisposed to advances in technology.
In fact the planet Kent hadn’t even achieved deep space travel when first-contact was made by GASP. GASP making contact with the unadvanced species is considered a bad idea by most, but it’s done and they can’t take it back. Early contact with the Kent have set precedents for GASP’s interaction with Zictin. |
Koek – Members of the Brotherhood
|
| Koek bodies are about the same size of a normal human, but their necks are much longer. The species also has a bulbous nose and fanged teeth, as well as pointed ears.
The Koek people are highly territorial and one of their few demands when they joined the Brotherhood was a fully sovereign government. The Kayooshen disagreed initially, however the planet’s rich resources and the species’ ferocious fighting habits caused him to reconsider. |
Bascore – Member of the FreeFroms
|
| The people of Bascore are generally considered the ‘leaders’ of the FreeFrom alliance.
They are tall, dark-skinned and posses enlarged forearms and small horns on their foreheads. The Bascore people are a nomadic race, with fixed cities appearing only in the last few decades as trade with other planets became more frequent. With a rich culture and patriarchal set of beliefs the Bascore are a respected people, both for their fighting and swordsmanship. Bascore have been repeatedly attacked by the Brotherhood but the planet has fought the invasions off. Though invited numerous times to join GASP they have insisted that they are neutral in the conflict and refuse to join either side. |
