Supporting Cast
From the Management: I just thought I should say that a lot of these characters were introduced in book one, but since they weren’t all that important most weren’t reintroduced in The Prologue. So don’t worry about it too much.

Randy and Hatter
Randy and Hatter are two generic bullies that I came up with…Randy’s name comes from the fact that he’s a ‘Random’ bully, and Hatter…well…he wears a hat. They have been causing trouble ever since they left the sixth grade and Tom and Sam constantly kick their asses. |

Mr. Fleshman
Mr. Fleshman is the good natured principal at the school that Tom and Sam attend. He allows Tom and Sam a certain degree of freedom when it comes to taking care of bullies. |

Aarbrin
Once working as second in command on Roto’s ship Aarbrin is currently working on The Rose with General Temtrina. Aarbrin is now acting as ’staff supervisor’ though he the unofficial second in command. Aarbrin’s name comes from his original incarnation from about seven years ago named Air-Born, I liked the character so I found a place for him in the comic. |

Forem
Like Aarbrin Forem worked on Roto’s ship as the lead pilot. Forem is relatively inexperience, but has a great aptitude for his job. He has take up the same position on The Rose. He respects Aarbrin, who he also calls friend. Forem is a lot like Aarbrin in that he has been around for years, his name is the cool version of ‘Four-Arms’ of which he does have four arms. |

Kyren
God of Knowledge and keeper of the forked path Kyren has an interest in Tom for some reason. Detached and emotionless Kyren seems to care very little for others well being. Refers to eras as ’rounds’ and people as ‘pawns’ or ‘pieces’. Loosely aligned with Paoken, Kyren seems to stand by him only in so far as it helps the God’s own plans. |

Paoken
God of strength and valor Paoken acts with his heart and has a temper that can shake mountains. He calls Tom his ‘Vessel’ though the meaning of this term is unclear. Ms. Adriana
Middle aged, ill tempered and commonly described as a ‘cougar’ . Ms. Adriana is a capable woman who has found herself principal of a school populated by elitist Airosians, well trained martial artists and a fair number of disgruntled teachers. She has taken a ‘no third chance’ approach with misconduct and has set her sights on expelling Tom and Terrance. |

Terrence Nielson
The newest addition to Tom’s group of ‘tag-a-longs’. Terrence is the son of a well respected Martial arts master who fought Jenny in her days of competition. Trained in Muy-Tai by his father and Boxing by his grandfather Terrence has proven himself to be a valuable asset in a fight. Areia does not spend as much time with Paoken as her brother Kyren, but she is still aligned against Kayooshen. Agent Leslie Lee
The slightly pudgy, constantly befuddled, assistant to the Director of The ZPF. Lee does all the things that the Director doesn’t do. Including: getting coffee, driving, and organizing reports. Lee enjoys drawing, watching cartoons from the 50’s, and reading trashy romance stories. Yes, he’s an odd duck. He also has standing orders to run over Tom on sight. It is unknown if he’ll do it or not…and to be honest he doesn’t know the answer either. |
![]() |
Bo’Dran
Good natured, easily amused, and typically found with a half cocked grin on his face. Bo is one of Mikel’s oldest friends, and is likely the only person who’s opinion Mikel cares about even remotely. Bo’s mother was born on a space station just outside of Velkin space and his father lived on a farm in the Airosian plains before the fall of the planet. |
![]() |
Mikel
Mikel is the self proclaimed ‘leader’ of the Airosain-clique in Tom’s school. He’s actually the only full-blooded Airosian in the school. Mikel has surrounded himself with all the necessary people to rise up in the world; the muscle (Horo), the brains (Donrei), the beauty (Sosha), and the right hand man (Bo’Dran). Mikel is old school Airosian, which is a polite way of saying he’s a dick. |
![]() |
Sosha
Sosha is the half blooded Airosian daughter of a businessman from Las Vegas. Sosha is typically seen hanging off the arm of Mikel, whom she considers her boyfriend. Sosha is an extremely well trained fighter. Sosha dislikes the way Mikel treats her and her friends, but is afraid of losing him if she speaks up. Her father was quite surprised when he was told he had married, and fathered the child with, a woman who’s from another planet…but he took it in stride. |
![]() |
Horo
Half-Airosian, Half Rakin. Horo’s Rakin father abandoned the family shortly after Horo was born; as such he tends to be a constant reminder of a very troubled time in his mother’s life. Horo doesn’t speak much, if ever, and barely keeps his grades above failing. He’s something of a bruiser and has a tendency to get into trouble. Horo follows Mikel almost exclusively because he can’t think of anyone else to follow, and Sosha can kick his ass. |
![]() |
Donrei
Donrei’s mother emigrated from France to America in the eighties, once here she met the recently off-the-ship Airosian that would become Donrei’s father. Donrei is very intelligent, but until he met Mikel he didn’t feel like he had a place to belong. Donrei is the groups tutor, computer specialist, and all-round mousey friend. |

Ali
Ali is the secretary for Jorrin at his office building. It has been hinted at that she’s not Human, nor is she a NIS, feel free to debate (though it has been revealed in my Hunter blog). Relatively good natured, Ali tends put on a very severe facade and is sometimes considered harsh, though she’s actually very nice. Ali can usually be found reading the newspaper in an attempt to keep up with world events; she also enjoys crosswords and John Grisham novels. |

Omen
Even though omen looks like a child of ten or eleven years old, he’s actually one of the oldest beings on Earth. Omen works for Jorrin by running all the errands that the old watcher cannot. The being enjoys jokes, watching television, and playing practical jokes on anyone who gets in his line of sight. |
![]() |
Jorrin
Jorrin is the watcher of Earth. His compound sits in Glasgow, Scotland and is hidden under the guise of a home security development corporation. The old man has alluded that he’s been alive for a long time, but not as long as Omen. Jorrin enjoys tea, cookies, and socks…which he even sleeps with on. |

Candice ‘Candi’ Donahue
Cousin to Tom and sister to Patricia, Candi fancies herself ‘the princess’. The girl adores Jenny and claims she wants to be just like her beloved aunt, despite never learning to fight. Candice has a rudimentary understanding of Jenny’s martial arts style, but never put as much effort into it as her sister. Her aspirations include marrying a prince and owning her own sail-boat…and finding where Patricia’s hidden her diary so she can stop her sister from spreading her private aspirations. |

Darasoon
Good humored, easily amused, and high as a kite are just some of the words used to describe the dog-faced guardian of a great power located in the Congo. Dara lives in the temple but he’s not restricted to its grounds…though he’s usually there. Dara likes plaid and bright, colorful, clothes…and sandals. Dara is mistakenly identified as a ‘god’ by the locals who consider him their deity. Only one villager, Armel, treats Dara as a person and not a God. |

Yaren
Large, muscular, and infatuated with extinct plants. Yaren is associated with the Reapers, though it’s unclear how much control she has over them. It’s been suggested that she can order Reapers, and has ordered them to observe Tom. Her duties with the Reapers tend to keep her busy but she always finds time to tend her ever expanding garden of rare (and extinct) plants in the South Pole. |
