The bird’s name is Oolop, in case you’re wondering.

And yes…he changes color. Why? He’s a Velkin bird that’s actually very closely related to our chameleon.

No…there’s not a ‘real’ reason. I just like him like that.

Oolop predates the PKF by a number of years…actually he kind of predates me…My mom was the first one to draw Oolop when she was little, I found a picture of him she did when she was young and thought he was interesting so I wrote him into the old stories. Now he’s just a ‘decoration’ around the HOLD…not really all that important to the plot (you should hear some of the ‘plot points’ that involved that bird) but cute none-the-less.

Personally, I think the fact that Zog and Mog are running around screaming at each other in Basic makes this comic…They’re actually saying things to each other, remember I said I had a Galactic Basic Font a while back? Well, here it is in action. I’m not going to tell you what they’re saying since I feel that that would ruin the whole point of the comic, but if you REALLY want to know I’ll post a translation.

And Tom’s starting to feel like his old self again…so we’ll have to change THAT won’t we? Yes…yes we will.

EDIT: Yes, I added a second comic mid way though the day. Sorry. I was going through my upcomming comics and I noticed they were all a page off. It seemed easier to do this little ‘PKF Presents’ comic insted of re doing all the numbers below the upcoming comics…Only took me twenty minuets and It let’s you know Oolop’s name a little better.
